Lazy Lads Backpackers Hostel is Pokhara's go-to hangout for solo travelers and small groups passing through Lakeside. Five minutes on foot from Phewa Lake, the hostel is built around a rooftop terrace with uninterrupted views of the Annapurna range — the kind of place you plan on staying two nights and end up staying a week.

Dorms are kept small (max 8 beds), every bunk gets a reading light, plug socket and curtain, and the common areas are genuinely used — nightly bonfires, a shared kitchen, and a travel desk that books everything from Poon Hill treks to paragliding.

Staff speak fluent English, hold luggage for free before and after treks, and can arrange airport pickup from Pokhara Airport. It's a 24-hour reception, so late buses from Kathmandu are never a problem.
